The best time to seek help for your relationship is at your first instinct of needing help. Many times people ignore that, and they wait years before they come into therapy. By then, it may be past a point of no return and it’s more difficult to do work at that point. The earlier the better, even before you get married or if you’re in a committed relationship that kind of maintenance can be so helpful to your relationship. Even if you don’t feel like the problems are extreme at this point.
